Welcome to Know Foot Know Horse, the website that blends traditional skills with up to the minute media technology. Know Foot Know Horse is the brain child of three times world champion blacksmith Darren Bazin and fellow farrier and former Scottish team member Brian Saunders both of whom have a passion for farriery and education within the profession.

The website aims to provide clear information in the form of short movie downloads covering everything farriery related. The movies available provide information for apprentices, newly qualified farriers, experienced farriers, veterinary surgeons and horse owners. Know foot know horse are an accredited CPD provider for farriers registered in the U.K.

This is a truly interactive site with our members not only able to request movies if they are not able to find the information available but we also hope that members will be able to add their own movies of the skills and techniques that they practice.

Our mission is to create a 21st Century library of knowledge accessible around the world, that will not only benefit those that work with the horse, but ultimately the horse itself.
